Keys do not correspond

Hi

I installed VMware fusion and windows XP. Everything is fine except that I have a lot of problems typing in the windows. The keys are different from the mac osx, for example:

In mac I type: "SHIFT + ." to get ":"
In windows I do the same thing and I get a ">"

Can anyone help me out here? I need to work in the windows terminal and this is giving me a lot of trouble.

What kind of keyboard layout have you set? Does the language correspond to your keyboard?

Thanks mate! It's a little bit better now. I went to "Text Services and Input Languages" and choose the portuguese (Portugal) keyboard, which solved some of the keys. But there are still more that are not correct.

The keyboard layout is the language in the Input Language? If not, how do I see my layout?
