Hi, all
I'm looking for a nice mechanical keyboard for my iMac. I do like the feel of the keys and the sound it makes.?

Next, I'm looking for some good desktop speakers with some power behind them. Want bass a treble to cut through.
Thank for you your time people.

Mechanical Keyboard - many options. Keychron is nice and not too spendy. I'd look at Nuphy for low profile options.

Speakers - very happy with Kanto YU2 and the matching sub. A little pricey but they sound (and look) nice.

Topman I'll have a look., [On the speakers] I write and record my music: So not sure if I can run Studio Recording speakers on my Mac, as this is much better to isolate when in edit mode I'm sure you can. So many so much choices out there. Are you familiar in this field sir? Thanx TreV

Nope. I just use mine for con calls, videos, podcasts and what not.

What is a low profile and high orofule keyboard mean? I see this used a lot in the Forums.

Low profile has short keys, like a Magic Keyboard or laptop. High profile has taller, more typical sized key caps found on a lot of desktop keyboards.

Hmmm. I wouldn't say that.

The keys are shorter but not short like a laptop or MK. Maybe in-between.

The important thing (to me) is the low profile keyboards are very slim in stature. The front edge is very thin making a wrist rest unnecessary.

FWIW - you lose a lot of flexibility if you go low profile. Ex: much harder (impossible at times) to find keycaps.
