Kick drum not sounding or recording with Garageband iOS using electronic drum kit

Hey

I'm using an iPhone 5, an iRig Midi and an electronic drum kit connected via midi to Garageband.

Everything else on the electronic drum kit (hihats, snare, toms, cymbals etc) sound and record OK except for the kick drum. Any ideas whats going on?

The kick drum sounds OK with other apps when its connected up.

Any advise?
