Not sure if this has been posted yet, but it looks intriguing.

It's not as refined as the MK, but it seems better than many of the cheap keyboards you'd find on Alibaba.
It's made of aluminum so I suspect it will be quite heavy. Hopefully the pivot hinge is solid and can holdup over time.

Otherwise, some of the features missing on the MK, are addressed with this keyboard.

Thoughts?

As a Magic Keyboard user for my 12.9 iPP since last May, I think one of the biggest downsides to this project would be that it uses Bluetooth to connect and not smart connectors. After trying a couple other Bluetooth keyboard cases, which had frequent disconnection issues, I have to say having the smart connectors is a big selling point. I wouldn't consider a new case in the future without it/them.

Strange, I've never had issues with Bluetooth keyboard cases. They also seem to last forever without needing a charge for months. Granted the ones I've owned were from more established brands like Logitech and Zagg. I've never tried those from Alibaba.

I'll keep an eye on this kickstarter project. It may be nothing, or it could take off. Kudos to him trying to improve on a product.

The reviewers talk about lack of palm rejection and that it deletes words. That’s a no for me right there.
