How can I protect my desktop from the kids moving, dragging, deleteing, changing the screen to something funky.... You get the idea

I want my kids 3 and 4 yrs old to play but I also want to protect the desktop from being all messed up. Is there a piece of software that will lock the desktop from changes?

Second the Parental Controls.

BTW, does anyone remember At Ease? My school had it on their systems, and it caused me to hate Macs with a passion for a number of years - because I didn't know any better. Slightly off topic, I know, but this thread made me think of it.

My school had at ease too! I hated it and I guess it made me hate macs as well until about a year ago... Because even after we got OS X computers they were so slow!

I graduated a few months after OS X was released, so I never had the chance to see it.
