Kids Apple Watches Keep Dropping Cellular (Can't receive Texts and Calls)

We have cellular watches for both kids. Regularly, both watches will not work on cellular, not permitting us to call or text (or track their locations). Sometimes a restart works, but this seems to be a consistent problem. One kid has an SE and one has a SS4 (my old one).

Thoughts? Have others seen this?

If it was 10 year old me, I would have turned off the watch while out with my friends
