I'm trying to install some kids games on our ibook g4 (1.067GHz, 256 MB Ram, 37GB HD running OS X 10.3.9). The game will let you start to install and then at the end it will stop and tell you errors are found. It makes you then start over. the kids games are dual pc/mac. min reqm't is OS X 10.3.2 or later. Any help greatful.

I agree. 256 MB is BARELY enough to run the system itself, let alone more programs (i.e. the games) that need at least 256 MB themselves. Though it's gonna be expensive, I'd say to invest into some RAM for that model iBook.

Well not so expensive for the gain you'll have. A PC2700 1GB sodimm chip ram is + - $50 if you do a little search on the web and you'll have 1.25GB ram in your iBook G4. BTW, installing Tiger would be plus too.

It would definitely help to get some more RAM. OS X should have at least 512MB.

And you should upgrade to OS X 10.4, tiger. It's much better. Promise. :apple:
