Kill an App at Startup Not a Login Item?

I made the mistake of installing drivers for my
buddies printer.

Now, every time the computer starts it runs the
HP Setup Assistant.

I would love this to go away, but I don't know
how. It is not a Login application for my
account.

Help?

Did you check the preferences of the app? There might be a setting there to start on login, uncheck that and you should be good.

On a side note, if you wont be using the printer anymore - I'd uninstall the software. Those HP drivers are really bloated and tie up a lot of resources.

when you login right click the printer setup app in the dock. is open at login checked?

Remove it from there and restart. Done.
