...so i dont have to finish watching this poor excuse for a music group called the Black eyed peas......please god take me now..

and if there is anyone of you who thinks they don't suck, I am going to drive to your house and donkey punch your kids.

Second...did Chevy not get the biggest corp bailout a few years ago ??? Nice to see my tax dollars paying for Super Bowl commercials:mad::mad::mad:

I agree ... the Black Eyed Peas suck ... These losers drag Fergie down like a sunken ship.

nice guitar work by Slash though.

The Black Eyed Peas suck almost as much as football itself.

Turn on the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet if you want to see something entertaining.

For the love of God, drop it.

After you loan a friend money, are you one of those people that rub it in their face years after they pay it back?

Actually yes I do....pay up suka. No time for deadbeats or corporations with ****** business models. Not my fing problem to dig them out of a hole.

And show me where GM has repaid the loan in it's entirety with INTEREST ....oh yeah...hasn't happened.

So if my Auto repair business is failing cause all I do is snort coke and buy hookers do you wanna come pay my bills so I can stay open??

See my point?

Not really. Marketing is an integral part of a successful business model, particularly in the automotive industry. A successful business model is what the bailout money was intended to sustain, and Super Bowl commercials are undoubtedly the ultimate in advertising effort (and cost, if that's part of your argument).

Skulking around like a beat-down dog and having no on-the-air presence doesn't sell cars. So I fail to see where GM has done anything wrong, much less something equating to drugs and prostitutes. Just sayin'.

But a big +1 to The Black Eyed Peas sucking. I can't believe they are still milking that annoying "Got A Feeling" song. Ugh.

THIS.

I've watched all 7 years of the Puppy Bowl. All of them have been entertaining, and yes, even the corny referee. But seeing that my 1 year old is laughing at the puppies playing, it is far more entertaining than the game, and is more of a family tradition now.

If they didn't, this ad couldn't exist.....

Anyway, the government only owns 33% or so of GM now after the IPO. And GM has been profitable the past 3 quarters so that is where the money came from.

I haven't watched an NFL game, Super Bowls included, in about 10 years.

Don't blame you.

It's been 17 years for me. I was introduced to Australian Rules Football back in 1994. Much more exciting and full of action, and no padding. Since then, I've never looked back.

I love the person's comment below the blog,

"Jimi Hendrix. Now that was a man who knew how to perform The Star Spangled Banner."

I can think of a second: Brian Haner. Mostly everyone knows him as Guitar Guy from all of the Jeff Dunham shows/clips. But seriously, the guy can play (and what do you expect? His son is Synyster Gates, from Avenged Sevenfold).

He was here in Sacramento last Thursday when Jeff's tour stopped here. His rendition of the Star Spangled Banner was killer.
