The reason I am holding onto my 17" PowerBook is the nice screen size.
It is slower then the intel 'Books, but l really like it.
I could sell it and buy a white MB that has a small 13" screen, but I won't.
Apple could sell a ton of 17" MBPs @$1300-1500 if they had these specs:
Unibody or "Old" casing.
1.86 GHz C2D processor (pulled straight from MBA)or 2.0 GHz (from base uni MB)
4GB RAM 667 MHz or 1066 MHz.max
nVidia GeForce 9400M w/256MB or 8600M GT w/256 or 512 MB VRAM
removable battery
backlit keyboard.
Matte or Glossy LED Screen@ 1920x1200 resolution
8x Superdrive (slot in front)
3x USB 2.0
1x or 2x Firewire 400
1x or 2x Firewire 800
Dual-Link DVI and Mini-DisplayPort output.
I know this won't happen, but I can dream, right?
This system, if introduced, would probably cannibalize MB sales.
Comments, Suggestions, and change the specs and pricing to what you should think such a system should have.
