I'm thinking of buing a 17" imac for home and to finally get all my music on 1 computer
imac seems great for that but this would be my killer audio app
- a small wireless receiver (working with Rendezvous), with speakers and possibility to link it with an hifi system
- the receiver would be piloted via my palm T (BT) where I would have small app to build playlists, ...
- my imac would server as music server, streaming music to all receivers in the network
so far I have seen many components that could do this but nothing that seems easy and complete
- Barix Exstreamer - wireless receiver ... but it seems difficult to install
- Yamaha MusicCast - but it's a proprietary solution with their own hardware and software
- Playlist management app for palm (i've seen one developed for Linux)
