Brien macrumors 68040 Original poster Aug 11, 2008 3,852 1,417 Aug 5, 2019 #1 New Mac, came with Mojave. Was on an older version of OS X before where I could kill and delete Notification Center via Terminal. Even with SIP off I can't seem to find a way to kill it. Is this no longer possible?

fisherking macrumors G4 Jul 16, 2010 11,569 5,964 ny somewhere Aug 9, 2019 #4 i had done that previously, but the blank space annoyed me. bartender (in catalina) can hide the icon for real (i think). i just have 'do not disturb' set from 12:01AM to 12:00AM; icon stays gray, and NC never bothers me.
