So, finally got my uptodate disc today(hooray!). So, I go upstairs and pop it in. Computer restarts, it goes through the startup, mouse and language selection, and disc verification, but when it starts the installation, I get an error saying that there was an error that prevented it from being installed and to restart my computer. So I do. Go through all of it again, but before it verifies the disc, it tells me that it can't detect osx 10.4.10 on my system:eek:. Which is the problem. Now, every time I restart, the computer sits at the screen with the apple and the wheel for about ten minutes and then shuts down. Please help me, I am in great psychological and mental pain. I miss my mac already:(.

PS: it's an aluminum iMac, 20 inch with 2.4ghz processor and 1 gb of ram.
