I've heard of a lot of issues. Phone already damaged on arrival, defective screen and buttons, ect. I just pray mines alright when I get it...

I'm pretty sure some people will reply that there's came in perfect condition. All the more heart break if yours doesn't, so this thread hurts more than helps.

Good Luck.

It's kinda awkward that it is only launch day and many people have scratched iPhones.

Was gonna get black, but now am going to get white. Problem solved.

Don't worry, the first 20 people got black and everyone had perfect iPhones out the box at our Apple Store.

The only people that make threads about the condition their phone came in are the small percentage who have problems. I ordered three that all came in perfect condition.

That's good. Maybe it's just how rough the ride was along the way? I'm sure there were major shipments, so im sure many people on here got phones from the same shipment.

Thats all we can do, is pray, and cower under our desks and hope for the best.

My prayers are with you also, just try and struggle through, you can do it.

I mean, I wouldn't be so worried if I wasn't spending a crap load of money, and the fact that if I send it back, I more than likely wont get a new one for a good month or even longer.

I totally understand what you mean, I was reading the scuff thread while in line this morning and was seriously considering the white, until I looked at the display models, these people are right, you cannot judge the black until you held it in your hands!

It's the same fault % as any batch of smart phones... It's just several million purchased them on one day.

Most of everyone who's phones are fine, are probably not on the forum & enjoying it. While others who have problems are swarming here, so thats what your going to see more of. I love mine

My phone didn't have a single scratch or scuff on it when I got it in the mail today. Don't worry.

I was scared to look at mine when it finally arrived today because of all that I had read here. I went over it with a magnifying glass :) but it looks perfect. I had no problems getting it set up and authorized. Now I'm just waiting on the case I ordered to arrive - I won't be comfortable until it's protected.
