Kinda stupid question about the new macbook air?

For those who bought previous macbook airs soon after launch, how long do we have to wait before 3rd party stores like amazon, B&H, or microcenter come up with sales for the 2020 MBA (like for example the 2019 MBA was almost 150$-220$ down recently)? I’m thinking about buying the 2020 MBA and don’t want to wait too much but also, sales would be nice!

I’d say you’re easy looking at 8+ months before seeing any substantial discount.
