Kinda upset at Itunes account..

So I had my 3gs stolen in November so I switched to a 8900 but before that I had an itunes account with bunch of apps that I downloaded.. and right now I tried to log in and when I did it says that this account has not been in used with the Itunes store..
So did I pretty much lose my account?
