Kindle app for iPad - can't share citations

So I highlighted a block of text and when I hit "Share" I only get Twitter/Facebook and no email. WTF? I can do that on my Windows Phone. The whole reason I want this feature is so that I can email snippets of books I'm reading to my friends so we can have a collaborative discussion online and this app seems to sabotage me.
