Klipsch Promedia 2.1 Speakers for Mac

Hi all

Is this speaker set even meant for Macs? I just got them for Christmas and I'm having trouble setting them up. Unfortunately, I don't understand any technical jargon, so I'm lost when the manual and FAQs talk of sound cards and output settings ect.

Basically, do i need to buy more items to get these speakers to reach their maximum capability if I use a Mac?

Simply plug the 1/8" plug into the headset jack on the Mac. I have these same speakers and have used them with my iMac and Mac Pro.
