Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 vs. Altec Lansing FX6021

Hi i am looking to buy a set of speakers for my macbook and i've come down to two sets. i am leaning toward the klipsch because volume level is important to me, and i've heard altec's only produce 'moderate' levels. although i like altec's style better, i found klipsch's price slightly cheaper.

i would like to know what your thoughts are on these speakers and which one you would recommend. also, what i would need to hook them up to my macbook. thanks for the help.

The Klipsches are great. Tight subwoofer.

the altec are great i have them and they kick butt!
