Which of these sound better:

Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultra with analog input
Klipsch Promedia GMX D-5.1 with digital input

I don't have a DAC and currently do not intend on buying one.

I have both sets, but I don't have the Ultra with me to compare sound quality. Also, does anyone know if I can use the Ultra satellites with the GMX without sacrificing sound quality, i.e. will the GMX sound better with its original satellites or with the Ultra? I'm concerned since the GMX is rated at 10w per channel and the Ultra is rated at 60w per channel.

Some background info:

I use the Ultra as a 2.1 system since I don't have an external sound card for my Mac. I missed having 5.1 audio from when I used the Ultra with my old PC, so I decided to get the GMX for college. I do like that the GMX supports 5.1 audio on the Mac through toslink.
