Klipsch s4i Coming apart!?

I recently bought a pair of the new Klipsch s4i's white. But recently I noticed that the shielding near the connector is coming out (see attached pic). Has anyone else had this problem with them? What should I do about it? Problem is, I bought it from an eBay seller, so returning it may be out of the question!

not sure about the kilpsch, but my dre beats (in ear) have the same issue

it seems like its just something that happens to some headphones, maybe because theyre defective pairs

Just picked up a set of these today. Sure hope this is not a widespread problem?

Anybody else having durability issues with these?

Contact kilpsch if they are under warranty you may get a refund/repair!!

I have a pair and do not have this problem.

Just send it back and get a replacement. I ran over my headphones with my car and still got a replacement. Their customer support is great.

Are you pulling them out of the phone by the cable instead of the head?
