KM to miles in Health app

Please help

Whenever the Health app is measuring distance under iOS 8 in the health app it is defaulting to KM for measurement when the Region/Location is set to United Kingdom.....if I change the Region/Location to the United States it then registers as Miles....which is correct....

However if I change back to the UK (where Miles is still the measure of distance) it defaults back to KM.......I would keep it on the US setting but it also changes currency code etc etc etc

Can a fix be put into place or an answer with a workaround please ??

I get the same. Weird how it is KM in the UK. Not sure if Apple read these forums. Hope so
