@D.T. pretty much sums it up... He was the only thing redeemable about the monstrosity known as "Flash Gordon"... Way to many movies to list with him in it...

Great actor and from all accounts he sounded like a class act on and off the screen.

RIP...

Excellent title; anybody who knows Bergman was going to figure out to whom this thread paid tribute. Such an amazing actor who was able to make the most out of every role, from starring in ponderous art house classics to bit parts in major franchises. I first encountered him in "Flash Gordon," but came to respect him as an actor in "The Seventh Seal." And I still can't watch "The Exorcist" with all the lights out...
