Knights of the Old Republic II on bootcamp?

i have installed KOTOR II on my XP bootcamp but i can't get it to work properly....

every time i play it gets stuck on an opening video. i think this has something to do with the integrated graphics card... is there a solution?

or do i need to (gasp) use a PC...?
