I was going to get the http://www.gearzap.com/knomo-11-macbook-air-envelope-case-brown.html for my macbook air but wouldn't the studs scratch the MacBook Air when taking it out?

Not really. The flap is bent backwards as you slide the MBA out. I have this case and it is very nice.
I also have this exact case and it works fine. At first it did rub against the bottom quite a few times until I quit being lazy and started pulling it out properly. However after about 50 rubs I see absolutely no scratches to the bottom of my MBA - Not that one should press their luck.
The case works fine and is very nice.
