Konfabulator 2.0 Coming

Looks like there's a teaser up for Konfabulator 2.0 on the Konfabulator home page (www.konfabulator.com). It should be interesting to see the Konfab team's response to Apple's Dashboard. Based on the countdown, we can expect the new version on or around 5/18.

Probably going to have a control board and act like Dashboard a bit more - widgets flipping, bottom p anel for widgets, etc.

To be honest, dashboard takes up enough of my system already!
Having 2 apps running concurrently to do the same thing seems like bloatware to me!
Sorry, but to re-iterate iGary, no thanks! Widgets are good, but they're not that good!

i welcome konfab 2 .. i bought it for my PC, and held off on buying it for my powerbook until after i had tried Tiger. the biggest problem with dashboard so far is the utter lack of good widgets. there's quite a few for konfab. granted it has been around longer, but still.
