I may be VERY slow on the scene of Kuaidial...but after two days of finding the best app for blocking calls (iblacklist AND Mcleaner - super buggy and unreliable), I came across this tweak!

I have to say, so far, it has been great. It is a mesh-up tweak of Cyntacts+iBlackList+CallDelete+otherSMStweaks+other tons of stuff that I have not figured out how to use yet! and best of all, it is Stable thus far and the blocking call works without lagging the whole phone up!

So, cool story or not, I just want to throw this name Kuaidial out there for others who are looking to spice up the phone app. It is free and it has been great.

just some of the settings!

and I still can't believe it is for free and only one thread on this forum dating way back! :)

I just discovered this tweak too and I discovered it when trying to enhance YouMail. Great tweak!! I'm impressed!!

Don't bash me for bringing back an old thread. I have an important question and don't want to use up macrumors server space to make a new thread.

I like mCleaner because I can make whitelists and blacklists. I basically just add everyone in my contact to a whitelist so that when a telemarketer calls or someone I don't recognize, it blocks it. mCleaner is not compatible with 5.1.1 though. It freezes the phone after ending a call.

So does kuaidial have the option to make a whitelist? Thanks.

This is one of the best tweaks available for me if not the best. However, the latest version with iOS6.1 does not work right for Blacklist. I have no problems using T9 dialing, etc. but Blacklist does not work. Anybody is having the same issue with Blacklist in the last version?

REMOVING AND REINSTALLING KUAIDIAL DID THE TRICK. Everything works like it should! NICE! Best tweak/app!

Just found it out (in a youtube video) by searching a solution to increase the dumb 100 call history limit. This tweak need a lot more cooverage!

This has been updated for iOS6 (says it is Beta in Cydia) and works well with my iP4S. I've missed the standard BlackBerry perks like blacklists, whitelists, showing contact pics, and adjustable keypad vibrate, among others. No extra homescreen icon - everything is controlled in Settings. Great find!

I used this for a looong time before buying CallBar. I don't know why I waited so long before buying CallBar. Yes KuiaDial has more features and some features I wish CallBar had, but to me CallBar is the BiteSMS of phone calls. It's one of the first packages I install and can't live without.

But KuiaDial is a serious tweak. Last I checked it wasn't fully updated for iOS6. Has this changed? I highly recommend this tweak but recommend CallBar more. Just personal preference.

I bought CallBar last year but never really enjoyed it enough. I kept trying to find the END button during the calls and couldn't, that's annoying. Maybe it changed or maybe there were already settings for that. I may give it another try.

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of your CallBar settings?

I believe there are swipe gestures to end calls. I tried it but I never fell in love with it (swipe to the right if I recall correctly; it's been a month or two since I tried it out)

It was how I felt when I installed bitesms. All the features were overwhelming when all I wanted was the "retry on fail" feature which still isn't there for iOS 6 :(

However, the quick compose and quick reply kept me on trying out the app more and I soon loved it.

I can't say the same for callbar. Sure it provides the functionality to call and end calls without opening the app but when I'm in a rush to make or end a call, the buttons are all the way at the top of screen and not big buttons for me to press. In addition to that, I make significantly less calls than I text so I just never adapted to the changes

They brought back the answer and decline buttons. I am not a fan if the swiping gestures either. I love the buttons though. And you can minimize the banner when in a call by swiping up on the banner. It puts the banner inside the status bar so you still have full use over your phone. Ill post a pic after work. I leave in about 1 hour.

The dialer is about the same size as the phone app's dialer.

Edit: my bad. I thought you were talking about the buttons on the dialer. You mean the buttons in banner. Sorry for any confusion. I have huge hands so reaching the top of my screen is simple. Plus the buttons are off to the right and I'm a right with the phone in my right hand. Reaching those buttons is simple. Much easier than reaching the back button in the top left when navigating apps like Settings.

I will give it another try this evening when I get home and check if pleases me this time.
Thank you for replying.

Different tweaks.
I've installed on my iphone5, so yeah ios 6 is supported.

Plenty of features. What I'm using for:
- t9 SmartDial (love this since the Windows Mobile era)
- pics on call history and contacts
- increased call history limit
- missed call ring time (this way you can know if it was a beep or an 'urgent long call')

Per total a must have tweak! I love how well it hooks to the Phone stock app.

You guys have Kuaidial working on iOS 6? I tried this and SMSNinja, and both don't work. I tried "Hangup" and "Busy Signal" for calls but calls still go to voicemail. Do you guys have this part working?

Just tested the blacklist feature and it does work. I have iOS 6.1.

Maybe on yours is conflicting with another tweak/settings?

The "no ringing" part of thre tweak does work but if I chose "Busy Signal" as the action, the calls still go to voicemail.

Could someone be kind enough to write out all the settings and a description for what each of them does? I don't know enough about phones/phone calls to figure out half of this stuff
