For having the foresight to see that activating 600k+ phones in one day would be an utter disaster (although a moron would see that train coming) and for breaking the mold and allowing the i4 to deliver early. Tomorrow should go much smoother I would expect!

Activation was quick and painless...now waiting for the sync to complete.

Doubtful ... 600,000 pre-orders taken ... that doesn't mean 600,000 activated today. Tomorrow will still be a tough day for the servers given that 10x more iPhones were pre-ordered compared to last year.

I agree with the OP. Kudos to Apple, my activation completed in under 5 minutes and I'm in love with my new i4.

Really no different than previous iPhones, right? The haters keep coming. I've had ZERO problems with my iPhone 4. Makes calls crystal clear. Even better than my 3GS. Does everything it is supposed to do. Keep hatin!

Agreed that this was a smart decision. Most are happy to get it a day early and a sizeable portion activated tonight meaning less for tomorrow

With that said, tomorrow....there will still be MAJOR activation issues as a record amount will STILL be activating

Agreed. Tomorrow is going to be a huge crazy mess. Today was good to get the portion of the chaos out of the way. I am having a few issues with the antenna, but that will likely be fixed when I get my case.
