I got my 13" rMBP at the end of November. A half dozen times or so I had a problem where it would not wake up after being asleep, even with the battery charged at 70 or 75%. It really drove me nuts when it happened. It would be completely dead and no combination of pressing keys, attaching the charging cord, or opening & closing the screen would have any effect.

I'll be traveling next week and my fear was that TSA would ask me to turn my Mac on and it would play dead. The tech at the genius bar plugged in a thunderbolt cable, ran a diagnostic and said my battery was worn out. I reminded him it was less than 3 months old. He said repair turnaround time was @ 4 days (too long). He disappeared for a while and came back with a brand spanking new rMBP! I was really shocked, I did not ask for, nor did I expect an on the spot replacement.

I know I pay a premium for Apple products but that is still amazing service!
