So Target had some Belkin KVM + USB switches on clearance for $9.98, regular $60. I picked one up and didn't realize until I got home that it was VGA only. My MacBook Pro came with a DVI to VGA adapter. The monitor I plan on using this with is hooked to my Dell Workstation via DVI. I would have to use a DVI-VGA adapter on the workstation also. Question is, since I got a pretty good deal on this KVM switch, is it really worth spending the money for a DVI switch? I know that DVI is digital, I use it on all my LCDs right now, but do you think its a huge difference between VGA and DVI ?

Always get DVI if you can. VGA at high resolutions suffer from poor picture clarity.
