Hi Guys,

I have an iMac G5 and I was wondering if it is possible to use the monitor when using a KVM. Basically I want to be able to sit a windows box under my desk and be able to control the two machines with a single mouse and keyboard (both USB). Has anyone done this? Can anyone give me advice on what KVM to use?

Dave

Duh, I kept thinking it was a G5 tower. In which case, presuming you want the output of your Windows machine to come out in the G5's screen that's a 'no possible'. That is, unless you want to put an S-Video Out on your Windows box and a TV recorder on your iMac (It'll look pretty crappy)

Why not just use Remote Desktop?

Like Sesshi said, you can't really do that. But Remote Desktop (or any other VNC) will work just as well.
