Hey y'all,

I was thinking about buying applecare from L.A. Computer Company and I was just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with them and if they are legit. Thanks in advance.

Since you're in Anaheim and evidently their store is in Anaheim, why don't you go down and visit their store? Judging by their site and pictures they look to be a reputable and claim to be an Authorized Apple Reseller & Service Provider.

Great deals on Applecare

I bought Applecare for my G5 iMac ($120 vs $169), and a friend got it for his iBook.
I plan on getting it for my Macbook before the 1 year warranty is up.

Does anyone know whether it's possible to order Applecare from them via web
(to get the "web special" price), and then pick it up to save the $10.00 shipping?

Anyone Used LACC online?

I am not in CA and i'm thinking of ordering online from this company. Anyone know if they are legit?

After I posted this, I tried a more general search on apple's reseller page and found out they are listed as an authorized reseller!

I bought a Mac from them along time ago, and they were fine. I assume they are still good. They have been around for a long time. Used to advertise in MacWorld magazine, etc.

Bought and received Apple Care and Bluetooth keyboard from them 2 weeks ago. Works great.

Somehow I stumbled on someone's posting about this company. I didn't catch their location and began ordering a new keyboard and Apple Care (best deal in town and online) from them. They offered local pickup so I saw they weren't but 15 miles from me. Of course that is 15 miles on the 405, 55, and 91...three worst freeways I could possibly travel, but yet I did it.

I went in, bought my stuff, the lady was quite nice and went home. Came home to a squeaky spacebar on my keyboard, returned it the next day. The man tried some weird "well are you sure this isn't how they work" thing on me, but that lasted all of two seconds and I was out the door with a new keyboard and never once had to lose my cool.

I actually believe that while I think there is an Apple store in a more convenient location and definitely convenient if I am in the office that day, I will take much of my business to them. Besides having great deals on Apple Care they offer slightly lower prices on other things. Plus, they're an authorized reseller but that excludes phones. They're not allowed to sell anything iPhone if it is Apple branded. Meaning, they can sell third party stuff, but no iPhones or iPhone headphones etc. Weird but that is Apple's deal not theirs.

I would certainly say that they're worth the drive and I can easily swing by Rally's hamburgers after for a burger...another place I never go now that I don't live in Tustin. ;)
