My old computer has corrupted mail. lt drops out, will drop the computer out, and frequently drops CS3 out. And iphoto - basically all my programs. Also now getting emails from other people not even sent to me and people answering from emails l haven't sent.
So l cracked it and bought a new - imac 10.5.2 Mac OS X. The other compurter has played up since l bought it -dropping out, freezing, turning itself off. so l hoped a new one would be ok - but..
Yep... now this computer is dropping out of mail - only a week old! And wouldn't close last night coz mail wouldn't quit. We did the computer talk to each other to upload all my settings. Does anyone know how to delete mail only from the system - and then how do l reinstall mail ?
OR do l have to delete this entire system and then start my new computer from scratch ?
Many thanks for your input - please also bear in mind l am not overly knowledgeable with computer hardware terms - so if you are telling me how to do it - please do it step by step. Many thanks!!
