Finally I have arrived.....
I think this is a new model from LaCie. Has anyone tried it already? I just placed an order wtih Small Dog but it is back-ordered as of today. It is bus-powered external HD (without an AC adaptor). I cannot wait till it will get shipped.

Sounds nice, let us know what you think once you get it.

Unless you really treasure the pocket sized portability, you'd be better off with a mains-powered Porsche 7200 RPM drive.
I already have LaCie's triple interface 160 GB and 250 GB external hard drive. They are very reliable and very sturdy looking with their metal enclosure. But, I would like to keep Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Clip Arts files with me when I take my 12" PB; so, this new portable model from LaCie seems a very good match. Every quarter or so, there is a new and more compact hard drive emerges in the market and I hope this trend continues.
