A couple of Apple Stores in the Houston Area now appear to have Thunderbolt Drives in stock, I bought a 1TB from First Colony Mall today.

Is it THAT noisy? I've been thinking about buying one (Or hoping Santa brings me one) but if that noise is too loud then I'll be giving it a miss

Haha, I haven't noticed the noise too much because I keep a box fan close by, but yes, it makes some noise... now I know why they didn't have any demo units on the floor
