I using a LAcie mini HUB to backup my macmini, store photos on, to store my itunes library on, and my iphone and ipad backups. Basically my whole life is on there.

Well, my macmini does not recogize it anymore. I tried connecting it to my MBP and that does not recognize it.

THe lacie drive has light that glows when it is turned on, but it looks like it is pulsing.

Suggestions? Will I be able to get my data off this drive?

Just for fun, did you try an SMC reset?

that did not work either.

When the light is pulsing I can hear the drive trying to spin, but it does not sound like it is.

Looks like all is not lost, I at least had the foresight to backup my photos onto a second external drive, but not my music and other stuff that was on there.

Damn...anyone know a good data recovery service?
