LaCie places a backup icon onto the Finder menu, or the Desktop if a file is opened from there. The proliferation of these reassuring, and unnecessary, visual notices have made my work space more crowded than than I like. Anyone happen to know how to stop these extra entries? I assume that, should I need them, I will open LaCie and find them there. Please set me straight if I am wrong about that.
