i have an 80 gig lacie d2 drive and one day when i turned it on it said that the disk is not formatted and needs to be initialized -- now i don't have anything overly important on this drive is initializing it didn't seems like a problem

however when i go to initialize this disk in System Utilities nothing happens, the progress bar just seems as if it were frozen -- i left it on for several days and nothing happend

i tried running disk warrior or rescue data and those don't even see my drive.

any suggestions -- i've searched the forum and based on what i read it's not the power supply because i can turn it, and the disk seems to spin up when turn the drive on aswell

any suggestions? veiws? solutions?
