LaCie d2 Quadra hard drives stackable?

I'm in the market for an external hard drive and I'm looking at the Lacie d2 Quadra hard drives. I noticed that it has 2 x FireWire 800 ports. If I already own a Western Digital My Book Studio, does that mean I can stack it with the Quadra? Or will I need a FW 800 splitter?

You can daisy chain FireWire devices....

If the items in the chain conform to the Firewire specs, it doesn't matter who makes them.
