Hi,

I want to get some speakers thati can connect to the 24 led display! I am looking at the lacie FireWire speakers! Will these work? I want to be able to dock my MacBook pro to the screen with the speakers connected to that to save extra wires,

if not can any1 advise some that will? I jus don't want to having more cables to constantly connect n disconnect!

Many thanks

Hey there,

These speakers won't work with the 24" LED Display as they require a FireWire port, and the 24" LED Display only has USB. If you wanted to use these speakers you'd need to plug them into your MacBook Pro.

However, I would recommend purchasing something like this, the Griffin iMic. It's basically a USB Audio Interface allowing you to ouptut audio via USB.

It is kinda expensive, however, search for USB Audio Interface into the likes of Amazon and eBay - and you should find something under £10/$15.

Hope that helps you out.

Yep there are a few USB options - that is what you will need.

I wish the ACD had an audio out.
