I have a Lacie external hard drive that only mounts when plugged in to the right usb port. If i plug it into the left one it just makes a clicking sound and fails to mount. I've plugged in other hard drives and devices to the left usb port and they work fine. What could be the problem? and how can i fix it?

Lacie HD will mount only on one usb port not the other

Is that drive USB Powered? The left and right USB ports do not have equal specs. One can deliver more power to USB powered devices than the other can.
