Not sure the price has been posted yet but this site reckons $1299 for the 1TB Thunderbolt 2 drive.

Thanks for posting. The price seems a bit on the high side but isn't totally outrages. I think I wait a bit until the price drops below $1k.

Typical Lacie BS - Yes, it's fast and first, but 1200 bucks for 1TB? It's suddenly not that fast, if you get my meaning

Aye, even inflated Apple nMP cost to upgrade the 256 PCi-e SSD to the 1TB is $800 so LaCie lost a potential market right there. It is faster than the internal drive though.
