lacie or owc?

after doing some searching on the forums, I've narrowed down my two choices for external portable drives to the 320gb lacie rugged drive or the owc 320gb on the go, both with fw800. So, feel free to leave your opinions on which you think I should get. Thanks

Good stuff, with good warranties.
With owc you could always just buy the enclosure and add the drive your self.
for about 35 dollars less than what they charge for the kit

I agree with OWC being a great choice.

OWC, no contest. I have 10 OTG drives, purchased over the past 6 years split between two locations, and have never had a hiccup except for a single mechanism replacement of the oldest one. I do not treat them gingerly.

A far better record than LaCie around here..

Neither of them, I have been very happy with my G Tech drives. Both G Drive and mini are high quality and reasonably priced.
