I was thinking about purchasing one of these:

http://www.lacie.com/au/products/product.htm?id=10607

A 10tb 5-Bay RAID, and I have what is essentially a partitioning question:

Could I partition say 3 of the 5 drives to be Mac OS Journaled (6tb), and then 2 of the 5 drives as NTFS (for use with Bootcamp, 4tb)?

All the use cases on Lacie's site are about having multiple raid1, where I think what I'm asking is can I have multiple raid0 (of differing sizes).

Thanks!

Hi,

You could partition it that way, except be sure to have fully functional Thunderbolt drivers for the Windows side or you may need to switch to another interface. The device relies on the OS to organize the RAID so you are able to put as many as the OS will allow.
