Hey,

I got a Lacie Little Big Disk2 and a year ago or so the power supply failed. I got a replacement from Amazon because the official item is out of stock. I just noticed that this new power supply started to make an annoying, very high pitched quiet whiny sort of noise. Like a long unsteady beep.
What could this be? Should I be worried?

I also noticed that the drive shows very strange, slow read speads. About 200 mb/s instead of the usual 1Gb/s.

I'm wondering, should I just try to disassemble the beast and try putting the drives inside my new mac pro? I'm not sure what kind of blades are in there and if it's even possible to remove them... also can't seem to find another new replacement power supply..
