Under 10.9.1 the LaCie RAID MONITOR ran fine. Under 10.9.2 it runs but consumes 100% (a single core's worth of CPU) all the time. To avoid this I have to Force Quit it with Activity Monitor and then de-install it otherwise it comes back on every reboot.

Do others using this product find the same thing ? Thanks... :)

Can you confirm that the new version 1.1.2 works well with OS X 10.9.2? I saw that you were downloading it, but didn't see an update here with whether it fixed things.

I haven't installed any version yet, until I know it's stable. Thanks!

It's been stable for me under 10.9.2.

Yup, worked.

I have 10.9.2 and installed this about an hour ago. I left it running during the update/install. Had TOP running with it sorted on CPU. Very interesting that LaCieRAID went from 100%+ to 0.8% in the blink of an eye and various fans turned off within 5-10 seconds. The whole system instantly was happier.

Pre-update (and after repeated reboots and power-cycles) the LaCieRAIDMon task bar widget showed "No applicable drives found" or some such nonsense.

Post update, my pair of 2big Thunderbolt drives now appear again and give status.

tl;dr This resolved my two issues instantly. Now I'm watching for endurance over the long haul.
