lack of Notifications vibration on apple watch

I've noticed normal notifcations don't tap as loud as apps like whatsapp or messages. My instagam notifications seem pretty much silent. Anybody had any issue like this? just wondering why i'm not getting a normal tap when i get incoming notifications.

Do you have prominent haptic on? I found the tap not strong enough so turned that on. It only applies to some notifications apparently though. Maybe that is why some feel stronger than others.
