sorry if this is an inappropriate question for this forum. I am using prerelease software so in theory I should be left to fend for myself, however I try to ask as the problem I have is extremely annoying. So in MacOS 14, a new gaming mode was added which adds some niceties to gaming ability on my Mac. But when I play a game, my notifications get completely disabled, both on the Mac and on the phone, meaning that I don't get messages, calls ETC. While I would like that in most scenarios, I have some friends that sometimes need me in this very moment and I need to be reachable, and a stupid game cannot break that reachability. Is there a way to make notifications work while in a game? And. as a bonus, can I make it somehow so that only some people can reach me while I am gaming?
I have tried turning off the gaming mode from within the menu bar, however the notifications are still gone. Any help is deeply appreciated.
