Not too sure whether this should go here or in the ML forum, but:
I bought a new rMBP nearly 2 weeks back (and it's the first Apple product I've ever bought) and at times, say for example when I resume after letting it sleep for a while or when logging into my account, the OS just freezes and there seems to be no way to continue other than to hold down the power button and restart completely. When these freezes happens even when I close the lid the Apple logo stays lit.
At other times, it's not so bad, but it freezes for a few seconds before letting me continue.
I've checked to see if there are any hardware problems with the machine using the Apple Hardware Test and it said there aren't any. Are there any other tests I should carry out to check?
Is anyone else having this problem? Is it something to do with the machine or with the OS (i.e. can it fixed with a software update?).
