Lag in Adobe Reader for Mac v9.5.5

Hi all,

I have Adobe Reader for Mac v9.5.5 installed on my iMac (OS X Yosemite) and whenever I use it, for any sized document, it will lag as I scroll down or up in the document.

The rest of my computer is fine and works like a dream.

I want Adobe Reader to scroll in a fluid motion, like in Safari or in Preview.

I use a Magic Trackpad with multi-touch gestures enabled, and to scroll I use two fingers using the inertia mode.

Uninstall reader and just use Preview. Never had a problem with preview, but Acrobat Reader is just pants.

If Preview will do what you want with PDFs, use that.
I haven't tested performance on the newer versions of Reader but version 9 is now 3 behind. I'd update.

That's a pretty old version of Acrobat Reader you're using.

11.0.10 is the latest version. Perhaps try updating it.

Actually, there's now Adobe Reader DC which is newer. (Just released last week or so).
